About this Privacy Notice
This Privacy Notice intends to establish a clear, concise and transparent communication on the collection, use, processing, storing etc. of personal data relating to customers of the H&M Group. 

Within the meaning of this Privacy Notice “customer of H&M Group” means a former, current and potential customer or user of a product or service offered by an H&M Group affiliate and brand, a visitors to one of our official websites or stores,  a member of a loyalty program or community.


Who is responsible for processing of your personal data?
The Swedish company, H & M Hennes & Mauritz GBC AB is primarily responsible for the processing of personal data within the scope of this Privacy Notice. Under certain circumstances the responsibility for data protection and your privacy is shared with one or several other legal entities, either being an H&M Group affiliate or a third party. 

Under each specific section of this Privacy Notice you will be informed about who is responsible for processing your personal data, the allocation of responsibilities and the modalities for the execution of rights.

Where do we store your data?
The personal data that we collect from you is generally stored within a country of the European Union or the European Economic Area (“EU/EEA”) but may also, whenever necessary, be transferred to and processed in a country outside of the EU/EEA. Any such transfer of your personal data will be carried out in compliance with applicable laws and without undermining your statutory rights.

From time to time we may transfer personal data from the EU/EEA to a third country not being approved by European commission as a safe country for such transfer (adequacy decision). Whenever applicable H&M Group will use Standard Contractual Clauses to ensure an equivalent level of protection as granted within the EU/EEA or other lawful grounds for transfer. 


Who has access to your data?
Your personal data is available and accessible only by those who need the data to accomplish the intended processing purpose. To the extent necessary, your personal data may be shared between the companies and brands within the H&M Group, with suppliers, sub-contractors and independent third-parties (acting as processors and sub-processors) carrying out certain tasks on Weekday’s behalf.

Why do we use your personal data?

We will use your personal data you have provided to us and the body scan with the generated body measurements to be able to personalize your avatar. Your body measurements will also be used to create your unique measurement patterns needed in order to produce your Body Scan Jeans.

Also, we will use your personal data to be able to process your purchase order, payment transactions, to manage your deliveries, claims and refunds in a secure and effective manner.


How do we use your personal data?

The personal data you give us when you book a body scan appointment or place a purchase order will be used by us to schedule an available time slot and to process and deliver the purchase order. We will notify you by email once your order is ready to be picked up in store or when it is being sent home to you.

We might contact you in order to get some feedback on the Body Scan Jeans service.


Who has access to your personal data?

We may share your data within the H&M Group. Unidentifiable data is also forwarded to a technology provider in order to provide you with the services mentioned above.


What is the legal ground to process your personal data?

When making the Body Scan Jeans service available to you, Weekday will process your personal data in order to fulfil the purchase contract, whether the contract refers to a purchase order and payment, or the use of other services provided by us or third parties.

When contacting you in order to get feedback on this service, we rely on our legitimate interest as a business.


How long do we keep your data?

We will process your personal data for 6months from the date of purchase, for the purpose of completing your order and perform our contractual obligations. We may keep your data for a longer period for other purposes mentioned in this privacy notice. See below for more info under each section.



Why do we use your personal data?

If you have signed-up to receive promotions from us, we may use the personal data obtained from you when placing a purchase order, to personalise your promotions and make the offers even more relevant to you.


How do we use your personal data?

We will only use the order information in order to send you relevant offers. We will never use the generated measurements for this purpose.

The processing of your personal data for the purpose to develop and improve our Body Scan Jeans service, is based on our legitimate interest as a business.


How long do we keep your data?

We will process your personal data no more than 24 months. Thereafter your personal data will be anonymized and no longer be linked to you.


Your right to object to processing of your data

You have the right at any time to object to the processing of your personal data and have the personal data deleted that is based on Weekdays legitimate interest. To exercise your right to object, please contact us at and we will immediately stop processing your data for this purpose.
