CO2

We are constantly working on finding ways to reduce our greenhouse emissions.

  • We use low-impact recycled and sustainably sourced materials.
  • Choose freight methods that lead to the least carbon dioxide emissions, for example using boats rather than flying.
  • We increase recycling and improve energy efficiency in our offices and shops.
  • As a part of H&M group, we have a goal of achieving a climate positive value chain by 2040.

As a part of H&M group, we have a goal of achieving a climate positive value chain by 2040. What does that mean? Basically, reducing more greenhouse gas emissions than what our value chain emits.

Even in our daily business at the headquarters in Stockholm, we are always trying to provide a sustainable environment. We produce most of our campaign materials in our in-house studio or on locations in town, to cut down unnecessary travelling. All Weekday events are vegetarian. And, recycling our trash is a given. It may not sound ground-breaking, but we believe creating simple habits is important for the bigger change.
